BBQ Cooking Course - 3 Classes (VIC)
Your barbeque cooking class commences with an introduction to the group, covering what we would most like to achieve from the lesson or course. Aprons are provided to all students to get into the mood for cooking up a storm.
In this cooking class you will learn all there is to know about cooking meat, seafood, and Lilydale Free Range Chicken on the BBQ, successfully. Experienced chef demonstrators introduce themselves and outline what is to be achieved from the day.
In the BBQ Meat lesson, we cover aspects of important methodology around temperatures and resting meats to ensure that you can really impress at your next BBQ at home. We then get straight into demonstrating the first dish where all participants are integral in the production, management and serving of all dishes.
We sit down together as a group to share in the first creation with a detailed wine tutorial matched to the first course. We then embark on the next course covering all parts of BBQ myths and secrets and work together via an initial demonstration to achieve the next course served together.
You'll then be given the tongs and lifters to re-create the meals with hints and tips from the experienced chefs. In the BBQ Seafood lesson, we look at the how and why to achieve really moist and crisp seafood including key buying tips and hints to ensure we are purchasing and receiving exactly what we set out to; the freshest possible product.
We again enjoy a detailed wine tutorial matched to lunch with hints to best varieties and vintages to serve when we next fire up the BBQ. The Lilydale Free Range Chicken class will showcase all the tips and tricks for cooking delicious chicken recipes so you cook perfect, moist chicken every time.
Please note: each BBQ class for the Meat, Seafood and Lilydale Free Range Chicken cooking course is held on a different Saturday or Sunday. There are 3 lessons in total.
