Fishing Charter Offshore For Six (NSW)

Your fishing charter starts when we leave Watsons Bay at around 7am and head offshore into the rising sun. Youll be travelling onboard our 38ft purpose-built Precision game fishing boat, Ambition, which is equipped with all the latest electronic navigation and fish-finding equipment.

Depending on the conditions, we will begin by either catching bait or start trolling for the big ones straightaway. All tackle and bait is provided and as we make our way out to sea youll be shown how to use the fishing gear and your skipper will ensure you know what to expect and what to do when a fish is encountered.

There is never be a dull moment. There is always something to see whales, dolphins, sunfish, turtles and an amazing array of birdlife, the most spectacular being gannets and albatrosses.

We will primarily be looking for schools of bait fish, which the big predators feed on, or temperature breaks that act like brick walls, stopping bait from escaping the predators. We are in search of blue, black and striped marlin, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, spearfish, wahoo and other assorted game fish.

Many people are lulled into a contemplative state of mind after a couple of hours trolling out in the ocean, with the gentle hum of the motors, the rocking of the boat, the sun, the fresh air and the occasional beer all adding to the ambiance (please note BYO beer). But things fire up when the first fish strikes!

The reels will be screaming and mayhem reigns supreme as you work together to land the big one! Then some semblance of order is regained and we prepare ourselves for the next bite.
