Golf Round On A Championship Course - Sunday
Golfers who have enjoyed Thomson's other courses - Hope Island, Twin Waters and Mirage Port Douglas - will recognise instantly the distinctive 'Links' style of this course. The pot bunkers, perched greens and fairway undulations are unique features among Australia's golf courses.
The course finishes with a 'Glory or Death' hole where the golfer has the choice to hit over a lake toward the green or play safely around the perimeter for par. This is a par 72 course of 6400 metres which is rated 74 by the AGU.
Already this group one course has been listed in the top ten courses in NSW. Three tee positions are available to suit players of different ability and five tiger tees have been added for the adventurous low marker.
Naturally, a practice range and putting green are part of the complex. All players are offered electric golf carts.
Clubs and shoes are both available for hire and the well stocked pro shop has a vast selection of equipment and sporting apparel available for sale. The experience includes 18 holes of golf and the use of a golf cart.
