This experience is the ultimate Australian getaway, combining a bed-and-breakfast retreat with an exhilarating horse riding trail ride. This experience is set in the beautiful Megalong Valley in the Blue Mountains.

It sits just below the rugged majestic sandstone cliffs and has views of the winding Coxs River. Yet it is serene and tranquil, with vast stretches of pasture land and pristine wilderness areas nearby.

Your overnight stay includes a two-hour guided horse ride, which you can choose to participate in on either day. It doesnt matter if you are a beginner, youll be matched with a horse that compliments your level of riding experience.

We have over 100 horses of differing temperaments for you to choose from. Your trail ride leaves from the farmyard and meanders through paddocks, along ridges, and down through the wilderness.

You will see horses, cattle, sheep and dogs along the way. You may also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of the native animals that live here wallabies, kangaroos, goannas or dingoes.

A continental breakfast is also included. You can enjoy breakfast under the willows or in the rustic woolshed steakhouse while watching the morning muster into the stockyards.

During your stay at the ranch, you can sleep in, relax, get involved in ranch activities, go for a bushwalk with your camera, sit in the shade of a leafy tree or enjoy a cosy fire in winter. Please note: Your overnight accommodation will be at the ranch.

Accommodation is basic, yet comfortable. Lunch and dinner is not included in the price however you may purchase delicious meals at one of the award-winning restaurants just 12 minutes away in Blackheath.
