Our professional instructors will cover all the fundamentals and have you up and skimming across the water in no time! We will teach you how to sail on all points of the wind, including heading upwind and downwind.
Within an hour you will have mastered your first tack and after that you will be discovering gybing! Essential theory and safety will be covered as well as rigging.
Included is a look at suitable equipment to further your progression into the sport. Windsurfing has changed in the last few years making it a very easy sport to learn forget the stereotype image of windsurfing being all about falling off!
With modern advances the equipment is very light, stable and easy to use it does not require a great deal of strength, its all about technique and using your body weight effectively. Windsurfing is a seasonal sport and is available from early September through to late April/ early May, depending on weather conditions.
