8 litre twin cam VVTi engine. With a sequential five-speed gearbox and weighing only 975 kilograms, these specifications make them exhilarating to drive.
On the day, you will participate in a series of motor challenges designed to test your skills in acceleration, braking and handling ability while negotiating a set course. The courses are set out on a bitumen surface covering 7,000 square metres.
Your time will be recorded, added together, with the winner usually the smoothest and most consistent driver on the day. A strong emphasis throughout the event is to show people valuable new safety skills that they can apply to everyday driving.
This includes correct driving techniques, oversteer / understeer, weight transfer, vision, cornering, seating posture, airbags and ABS braking. This is done in a fun, relaxed and controlled atmosphere.
Not only will you remember the day for years to come, but you will also learn potentially lifesaving skills.
