On board you will receive further briefing on the safety features of the Antonov 2 and you will embark on an adventure around the Yarra Valley with distant views of Melbourne CDB and Port Phillip bay. Your flight will take you over Mt Dandenong and the wineries of the Yarra Valley.
Once the aircraft has settled in cruise (conditions permitting) you are welcome to come up and visit the cockpit of this ex soviet airliner and learn more about its history. On returning to base you will receive complimentary postcards and stickers with more information on the Antonov 2.
The Antonov 2 is the largest single engine biplane ever built. It dwarfs all other light aircraft in its vicinity.
With the rumble of its 1000hp supercharged radial engine it has been described as the Harley Davidson of the sky.
