Shark Diving For Certified Divers - NSW

Your shark diving experience will begin with a 1 hour shark awareness brief about the origins of sharks, their reproduction and identification followed by a short video presentation. Then its time for suiting up in the supplied wetsuits and diving gear.

The 30 min Oceanarium tank dive will allow you to get up close to 4 different species of sharks, including 7 adult grey nurse sharks (one is the largest in captivity in Australia), 4 different species of rays, 2 species of turtles and a vast array of marine life. The group size is small and personal.

After your dive, de-brief and certificate presentation you can spend some time enjoying any of the complimentary guided tours or shows conducted at the Aquarium. If you have any of the following conditions: Asthma, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Chronic chest condition, Chronic sinus condition, Ear problems, High blood pressure, you are pregnant or you have any other medical conditions, including injuries or psychological issues that may prevent you from participating in the dive.

You require written confirmation from a doctor stating your condition is not prohibitive to diving before booking the dive.
