Steam Train and Overnight Stay for 2

Spend the night enjoying the hospitality of a comfortable country motel in a delightful garden setting and enjoy breakfast before taking a short walk the station the next morning for an unforgettable steam train experience. Your experience starts as you are welcomed aboard as special guests of the Victorian Goldfields Railway.

Sit back and relax as you take a historic journey from Maldon to Castlemaine on the former Victorian Railways Castlemaine to Maldon Broad-Gauge Branchline in the Mount Alexander Shire. You will be provided with a glass of local wine and nibbles to enjoy on your steam train journey.

On your return journey, either you or your partner will have the privilege of making the journey up on the locomotive with the loco crew which adds a unique and exciting extra dimension to your steam train experience. Please note: This experience does not operate during February.
