Swim With Sea Lions - Child
Our swim with the sea lions tour has also been described as the best seal dive in the country! The tour leaves from Port Lincoln in South Australia, where you climb aboard our comfortable boat for a short cruise to Seal Cove at Hopkins Island.
Your hosts will make this trip as enjoyable as possible and there is plenty of room on board for you to stretch out and relax. Upon our arrival at Seal Cove, the sea lions run down the beach to greet you with open flippers.
They swim to the back of the boat where they wait while your host explains the guidelines and safety tips for interaction with these most engaging and entertaining puppy dogs of the ocean. You spend about 90 minutes at Hopkins Island, swimming with the sea lions and enjoying a light morning tea, before boarding again for the return trip.
On the way back we often see dolphins playing, plenty of sea birds and the comings and goings of the local tuna fleet. This also includes a swim with tuna tour another of Port Lincolns premier attractions (to be conducted at a separate departure time).
