Tall Ship Laser Shooting and BBQ
An exciting way to enjoy Sydney Harbour is to enjoy a couple of hours on laser clay shooting on a majestic tall ship. During the cruise there is fantastic sight seeing as the ship departs Campbells Cove and cruises past all the iconic landmarks visitors have come to enjoy, including, Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Fort Denison, Garden Island, Taronga Zoo, Luna Park, and the Admiralty House. Laser Clay shooting is totally safe and interactive, just gather up friends, family and colleagues together, team up and have fun playing to find out who has the best marksmanship skills. And with a BBQ lunch added to the experience, this beautiful cruise and gaming outing will quickly become one of your favorite activities while in Sydney!
During the game, each round has five modern day buccaneers set to test their skills by firing at clay targets launched into the air. Armed with shotguns equipped with micro chips, each participant has the opportunity to take two shots at each target and to make the game more challenging, the clay targets are launched at different speeds and angles. The micro chips in each shotgun is linked to an electronic scoreboard which records each hit and when the game is done the results are electronically calculated and displayed on a scoreboard. At the end of the competition, the player or team with the most points wins. After everyone has a good round of marksmanship, there is finally BBQ lunch, which is varied to suit any taste, and includes seafood. An authentic Aussie meal it comes complete with a glass of wine, beer, or a soft drink. What better way to enjoy a sunny day but with a cruise, a BBQ, and a friendly round of competitive target shooting while on vacation?
To participate in the cruise, visitors must be ten years of age or older and unfortunately the ship is not wheel chair accessible. Comfortable clothes are advised of course, and high heels are not allowed to be worn on the ship. The maximum number of people that will be accommodated is 50, although the ship is licensed to hold more than 100. This ensures a less crowded more personal and exclusive cruise feel for passengers. The tour runs for about two and half hours with sailing time beginning at 10:30 am until 1:00 pm. Boarding time is fifteen minute prior and the ship will depart in wet weather as well.
This tour is a prime opportunity to make new friends, enjoy an authentic Aussie BBQ and to see the sights so don't forget to bring your camera for the fun!
