Tandem Hang Gliding Flight - Weekday
Your tandem hang-gliding experience begins when you meet with your pilot at our historic flying site. This is a world-renowned area for hang-gliding.
You will be given a 15-minute briefing and then take another 15 minutes to get set for the flight. Then its time for launch!
During launch you will be side-by-side with your pilot. You will take off from approximately 700ft and glide to heights between 1000ft and 2000ft, depending on the weather.
What a way to see the world! The coastal mountain range of the Royal National Park offers world-class flying and the scenic views from a cockpit-free aircraft are unmatched!
During your 25-minute flight you will look down upon the sparkling coastline and stunning natural environment. You will have the opportunity to spot marine-life while quietly cruising in the sky above.
Hang-gliding makes for a peaceful aerial journey. However towards the end of your flight your pilot will give you the opportunity to up the excitement with some exciting turns and acceleration of speed!
You will even be given the chance to take the controls during the flight and have a go at flying the hand-glider yourself! Landing is possibly the most exhilarating part of a hang-gliding journey.
At the conclusion of your flight you will make a safe landing on the beach. Then you will spend approximately 30 minutes packing up, relaxing and having a chat with your pilot.
