Explore the nations capital with a treasure hunt experience around Canberra! Based around the magnificent Parliamentary triangle and beautiful Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra is the largest concentration of national treasures within Australia.

The National Treasure Hunt takes your group on a journey by foot to unlock the secrets of our Nation, from war heroes, the sacking of a Prime Minister, and controversial art to the mystique of the High Court! On the day of your treasure hunt, your group will be divided into small teams of 3 - 4 people.

In the three hours allocated to the Treasure Hunt, each team is required to solve a series of riddles, find clues, visit specific treasures or monuments and in some locations, obtain specific items. Your teams will travel on foot and can decide in what order they wish to tackle each of the clues.

Points are allocated to the teams according to the number of sites visited, for correct answers, completion of a team task or the collection of specific memorabilia. Mystery sites are sprinkled throughout the area and observant teams will get bonus points for their discovery.

The teams that score well are generally those that have displayed strong teamwork throughout the experience, are creative and use all the resources available to them. Whilst the activity is competitive to some extent, the better teams will realise that cooperation, not competition will achieve superior results!
