White Water Rafting Day - Murray River

Winter white water rafting takes place on the Murray River, in the beautiful Dwellingup region. The course consists of around 30 rapids, ranging from grade two to grade four, dropping 90m over 8km for hours of white water rafting fun!

Your day begins with a wake-up continental breakfast and a complimentary transfer from Welshpool to the river, which is approximately 60 minutes drive from Perth. When you get to the river youll meet your guides, familiarise yourself with the equipment, and change into wetsuits.

Then youll move onto the launch spot. Here youll get a safety briefing with the rafting group.

Youll then get on the water to receive a further safety briefing before heading downstream to where the action begins. The next few hours is filled with white water rafting fun as you work together with your team to steer the rafts through the swirling rapids!

This is a fun and adventurous activity that will get your adrenalin pumping! About halfway through the day we stop and relax with a wholesome lunch on the banks of the river.

Its then back onto the rafts for another few hours of white water rafting excitement! You will enjoy light snacks and drinks on the way home, before arriving back in Perth at around 6pm.

Youll be feeling pleasantly tired and contented after a fun day outdoors battling the rapids down the beautiful river. Please Note: This experience is available between July and September ONLY.
