Zoo Admission and Lion Encounter

Addax, bilbies, cheetah, dromedary, eland youll see an A to Z of animals during your visit to the zoo. With your zoo admission you can spend the day viewing animals (both from Australia and around the world), traipsing our walking tracks, exploring the Visitor Centre and dining in the cafeteria.

The highlight of the day is the special Meet The Lions behind-the-scenes tour. Youll never get closer than this to the worlds ultimate predators.

During your tour you will go backstage to observe the lions close up. Stand by as the keepers bring them into their night quarters, feed them and put them to bed.

This is your chance to see firsthand the strength these creatures hold and the powerful vocal cords they can unleash. With a maximum of eight people in the group this is a very special experience!

You will also spend some quality time with a qualified keeper, asking them all of those questions you have always wanted to know the answer to. What do lions like to eat?

How many are there in the wild today? And what is the life expectancy of the mysterious white lion?
